Hien Nguyen
Director and Clinical Psychologist
Hien Nguyen is a Clinical Psychologist and Director of Recruit HQ. She has over 15 years of experience specialising in occupational psychology, trauma assessment, and mental health support for high-risk professions.
Hien has worked directly with Victoria Police, Ambulance Victoria, the ADF, and other government and security agencies, delivering wellbeing and resilience training programs, critical incident response, and clinical care. She has worked intimately with frontline employees, managers and the executive team in these organisations. She has a deep understanding of the psychological inherent requirements, stressors, and demands of these roles.
Hien is recognised across Melbourne and Victoria for her leadership in wellbeing initiatives, pre-employment psychological testing, fitness-for-duty evaluations, and evidence-based guidance that build resilience and performance in frontline organisations.
Mandy Trencher
Head of Client Experiences, Quality Assurance and Compliance
Mandy Trencher leads Client Experience, Quality, and Compliance at Recruit HQ, where she ensures that every interaction — from initial referral to final report — reflects the highest standards of professionalism, care, and precision. She is dedicated to fostering trust, transparency, and excellence across all aspects of client service, ensuring that both organisational partners and individual clients receive a seamless and supportive experience.
Mandy comes from a strong background in financial services, global capital markets, and healthcare, having managed multi-million-dollar client portfolios and complex compliance frameworks with distinction. Before joining Recruit HQ, she held senior roles with MUFG Pension & Market Services and Computershare, where she specialised in client relationship management, regulatory compliance, and business analysis across global markets. Her earlier work as Marketing Manager at Bed for Backs also shaped her deep appreciation for client wellbeing and the importance of service integrity.
Known for her warmth, diligence, and leadership, Mandy combines corporate precision with genuine care. She brings a unique ability to streamline processes, uphold compliance standards, and enhance the client journey, ensuring that Recruit HQ remains a trusted name in professional psychology and organisational assessment services.
